Satmar Chasidim and the Chasidic world celebrate the swift recovery of the Rebbe from Covid-19, which he contracted about two weeks ago. The first public appearance by the Rebbe brought a sigh of relief in the entire Chassidut that followed with great concern the condition of the Rebbe Shlita.
According to people around the Rebbe, who contracted the coronavirus about two weeks ago, he felt well most of the time. However, in the early days, the Rebbe suffered from a very worrying general weakness, which prompted organized prayers in all of the Yeshivahs and Shuls of Satmar around the world for his complete healing.
The Rebbe attended last night at a ‘Shevah Brachos’ ceremony for his granddaughter and delivered his public remarks since his recovery; in his words, the Rebbe thanked his followers for the prayers and reiterated his gratefulness to Hashem for his deliverance from danger.
