Last night (Wednesday), the US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman and his wife Tami Friedman, the Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon and his wife, Autumn Leon, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz and the CEO of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mordechai (Soli) Eliav, arrived at the Western Wall plaza to mark the end of Friedman’s tenure in Israel.
Friedman, who began his role by visiting the Western Wall, decided to end it at the same place. The Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, thanked the outgoing Ambassador for his hard work for the City of Jerusalem and its residents, hand in hand with the outgoing US President Donald Trump and said: “Your great contribution to the city will remain with us for generations to come.”
